The Initial Planning StagePlanning the Wedding

Together we discuss in depth the key elements of your wedding: the type of ceremony you want, who you want to include, and what you want to say – your vows.

I will sight your original identity documents and help you fill in the Notice of Intended Marriage form, and validate it.

Approving the PlansApproving Wedding Plans

I email draft copies of your personally crafted ceremony for you to review and approve.

This extends to considerations such as the location, choice of music, cultural nuances, or any other special considerations that may arise as your wedding day approaches.

There is absolutely no limit to the number of changes you can make or the number of times you can call or contact me. I’m there for you.

The RehearsalThe Rehearsal

We have a rehearsal of your ceremony. This can be at the venue, at home, with the entire bridal party or just the bride and groom. Though not essential, this is an excellent opportunity to ensure there are no problems.

Whether we have a rehearsal or not, I will still meet with you one week before the day for you to sign some official documents required around this time.

Your Wedding Day

This will be the climax of all our careful planning.

The Wedding

As well as conducting your ceremony, and presenting you
with your ‘Certificate of Marriage’, I will be there well in advance
to ensure that every detail falls into place just as we have
envisaged and that it is your perfect day.

Your Honeymoon

The Honeymoon

While you’re off enjoying yourselves I lodge your details
with the NSW Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages.
At the same time I will arrange for them to issue your official
Marriage Certificate, which is the only document that provides
proof for legal purposes of your marriage, which I then forward
directly to you via registered mail (unlike many celebrants, this
service is included in my fee).
